Old Town Orange

The day after my daughter graduated, we had to take her Aunt home.  I figured since we were in the OC we would go have lunch and walk around the Orange Plaza.  If your ever in the OC go to the city of Orange they have lots of antique malls and places to eat you won't be disappointed.

Look at this, it's ginormous!

I want one, soon very soon.

My daughter enjoys flea markets, and thrifting as well.
Yes I taught her well... Obe wan Kenobi.

This is right up my alley, don't you just love the frog.

How about these...

I had one of these when I was a kid.  Oh the memories I had so much fun.

You know I had to try this on, I love this poodle hat!

A quick visit to the Chocolate factory for some yum yums.

Baby Girl had to have a chocolate covered strawberry!

CRUISING THE NEIGHBORHOOD

I grew up here and always wanted to own a home in this neighborhood so here's my wish list.

Close up of the widow's walk.

The banner reads Happy Spring.

I just love the window's.

This one was a favorite.

Close up of the hydrangea's.

Close up on the brick entry, I just love that look.

Another favorite.

AMERICAN PRIDE

All of the next houses were flying our colors in one way or another.

If window's are the soul, then doors are the heart.

I hope you enjoyed one of my favorite places.  Stay tuned for more of my life in 1000sqft.

With all my heart,

Yolanda

Garage Sales

I normally don't go sailing on a Sunday, but there was a neighborhood sale so why not. Here are my finds.

I have a collection of these, so why not add to it, at 2 bucks can't go wrong.

Love this, can't wait to do something with it.  I was thinking getting some kind of screen and using it as a food cover, I could have used it for Jeena's gathering, or I can use it to cover my strawberry plant's the bird's are getting at them.

I hope you can see this, it's a wire shelf.  Cost $1.00 good deal if I do say so myself.

I'm hoping to put this to use on my potting bench. It looks like a tiny sink, but I believe it's used for horses.

While I was outside I noticed I'm getting oranges.

I have a little color  blooming.

I had been so busy with Jeena that I didn't get a chance to share what I did with these chairs.   I have 4 and I have been wanting to recover them for a while it wasn't until I was getting ready for Jeena's graduation that I went ahead and did it.

I purchased this sometime ago with these chairs in mind.

I could have replaced the seat but I really didn't have any time.  This should do for now.

Painted them black and now there all dressed up and ready for the par-tay!

Purchased these plants.

Got the burlap out.

Found this at a garage sale for $2.00.

Added the burlap till I got it just right.
These look so sweet and delicate.

Love the green on these leaves.

I really like the variegated ivy.

I just need to hang it above my tea cart and It's ready to go.

Well that's what I been up to, my GF has been booked for a wedding so I'll be helping her the 29th I'll make sure and take plenty of pic's.  Stay tuned for more of my life in 1000sqft.

With all my heart,

Yolanda
