About Me

I live in Southern California in a small town called Menifee.  I have been married for 20 years and have 2 beautiful daughters and 4 granddaughters... oh yes, the men are out numbered in this family. 



 My youngest just started college and we are looking forward to our next adventure with her.

  I love thrifting, garage sailing and flea markets.  I collect vintage bags, vintage jewelry and the list goes on and on.





 I like to sew gifts for my friends and family and hope to open a shop soon.

  I'm so blessed that my husband also likes to go hunting with me, although he's into other things like his cars.  (If only they were running I'd be at car shows for sure.) 

I love the lord with all my heart soul and mind.  I volunteer at my church and it has been the most rewarding thing of my life. 

 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

I lost my job back in 2008 and we lost our home, but that's a whole other story. Maybe I will share that one day...  Which brings me to my blog name; I now live in a rented house that's 1000 square feet thus my name.

I started blogging to share the stuff that I do for friends and family. I really don't know what I'm doing, in fact I have no clue.  But there are a lot of great learning tools out in blog land. So I took the plunge, and for now I post what ever my heart desires.
